| A great trace mineral plan is the cornerstone of any nutritional program. Without proper levels of trace minerals, the energy and protein provided in rations will not be properly metabolized due to insufficient mineral availability for the building of digestive enzymes to break these products down for absorption into the system. In addition to our formulas, several feed companies use Albion Chelated trace minerals as part of their mineral formulations. You can tell if they are because when you look at the feed tag and it lists: Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, Copper Amino Acid Chelate, Manganese Amino Acid Chelate or Magnesium Amino Acid Chelate you are getting genuine Albion product in your mineral. Only Albion is privileged by the American Association of Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) to be able to use this designation on labeling. If your tag lists any of the metals as Complexes or Proteinates you are receiving something less than a true chelate.
