Calci-K®
This calcium/potassium/phosphorus complex is specifically designed to fortify liquid food products. It is a readily absorbable form of calcium that maintains complete dispersion at a pH between 3.5 and 8.0 when added to liquids. No additional suspending agents are necessary to keep this ingredient dispersed.
Calci-K is soluble in many forms of beverage and is especially suitable for fortification of dairy products, imitation dairy products (powder or liquid), soy based products, infant foods, butter, margarine, and other products of neutral pH. At an additive level of 300 mg of elemental calcium per 8 ounce serving, there is no change in taste, odor, color, or consistency.
This patented ingredient is a white, free flowing, non-dusting powder. Calci-K® is Kosher certified, vegetarian, hypoallergenic, and BSE free.
