Vitalosate® is Albion Human Nutrition’s promotional Multi-Mineral and Vitamin supplement. The Vitalosate® recipe was put together by our Science & Research division with collaboration of experts in the field of vitamins and minerals. This recipe was designed to give the user a full range of Albion’s chelated minerals along with key vitamins. You may have received a free sample of this product at some of our promotional events and trade shows through our Plant Nutrition or Animal Nutrition divisions. It is the intention of Albion to expose as many people as possible to the superior quality of our chelated minerals. We feel once they feel the difference first-hand what a difference good nutritional products can make they will surely use them for their livestock and plant crop. Though this product is not available for purchase from Albion, one of our Gold Medallion® retailers does use this very same recipe.

Registered Dietitians Value Dietary Supplements, Study Says

The “Life…supplemented” campaign just released (December)results from its 2009 Health care Professionals Impact Study, finding that dietary supplements have a considerable impact on health care professionals and their relationships with clients.

The survey, conducted by Ipsos Public Affairs (Chicago), found that eight out of every ten registered dietitians (RDs) “view dietary supplements as important for maintaining health.” Eighty-one percent of those surveyed believe that most people can fill gaps in their nutrition with vitamin and dietary supplement use.

The survey found that 91% of RD’s actually take dietary supplements and recommend them to their clients. Popular supplements used by RD’s include multivitamins (84%), specialty supplements (64%), and omega-3 fish oils (47%).

Combining the results of three separate surveys, the“Life…supplemented” survey included 300 nurse practitioners, 300 pharmacists, and 300 registered dietitians. “Life…supplemented” is a campaign of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) Foundation, an educational affiliate of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (Washington, DC).
